ACH

Automated Clearing House is a paperless payment system. This account gives your business the ability to gain or maintain a greater control over funds, move your billing and collection of routine payments out of a paper environment and eliminate check preparation, storage and retrieval costs. ACH can be used for:
- Direct deposit
- Health Club dues
- Insurance payments
- Mortgage payments

Account Reconciliation

Provides the tools to save your business time and to improve accuracy when balancing business checking accounts. Jefferson Bank’s system provides management and audit control by providing concise reporting on check activity and historical information. Your business should see a reduction of clerical time associated with manual reconciliation. Jefferson Bank offers three levels of service
- Full Account Reconciliation
- Partial Account Reconciliation
- Sort Only Reconciliation

Check Imaging

Efficient, space-saving, long-term storage that allows quick and easy research of your items. You will receive clear, digitized images of paid checks on CD-Rom. Check Imaging helps reduce fraud and enhance customer service. Imaging eliminates check-warehousing costs and allows you to respond quickly to customer or vendor queries.

Controlled Disbursement

Helps corporate customers calculate daily cash positions and put excess balances to work quickly. Jefferson Bank makes information available early in the day, to optimize cash flow by increasing the float time associated with checks clearing. It also helps reduce idle balances, maximize investment income or reduce interest expense. A Controlled Disbursement account provides information needed to determine daily cash positions while maximizing control over payables.

Positive Pay

Effective fighting fraud; this service forms an alliance between the bank and the customer in the war against check fraud. Customers submit an electronic data transmission file to the bank containing issue information on all checks. The checks presented for payment are matched to the issue information. Exception items are reported to the customer each day for a pay/no pay decision.

Zero Balance Accounts (ZBA)

Great for handling multiple bank accounts for businesses. Subsidiary accounts are maintained at a specified balance (usually zero) and are electronically linked to a master account.
