Federal Stafford Loans
These government-regulated loans are certified by college financial aid offices and offered at Jefferson Bank.

Subsidized Stafford Loans
Available to students who have financial need. Interest is paid by the government for full-time students. Loan repayment by the student begins six months after graduation.

Unsubsidized Stafford Loans
Available to students regardless of financial need. Students become responsible for accrued interest when loan repayment begins six months after graduation.

Parent Loans for Undergraduate Students (PLUS)
These government-regulated loans offered by Jefferson Bank are certified by college financial aid offices and are available to parents regardless of financial need, subject to a credit check. Students must attend full-time and be U.S. citizens. Repayment begins within 60 days after the final disbursement.
